Dave Winson @ Zander’s – March 18

Dave Winson

Great covers and original songs.

Enjoy an evening of rugged blues, souring classic rock and memorable
modern tunes with singer-songwriter Dave Winson down at Zander’s on Wednesday.

from davewinson.com:

Performing as a solo artist, Dave is a singer / songwriter who plays at many local venues. Whether for a private party, function or enjoying a night socialising, Dave’s blend and take of classic rock, blues and modern songs is ideal to create that memorable occasion that you are sure to remember.
Dave was exposed to music from a very young age via his parents. Initially learning the guitar from his father, he then continued into an electric blues orientated direction around the age of 12 when he discovered Eric Clapton’s 461 Ocean Boulevard from a friend. This led into the likes of Robert Cray, Gary Moore, The Jeff Healey Band and many more all which were absorbed and have played a huge influence on his electric guitar playing style.
Dave has also taken influences from a lot of the classic and modern singer songwriters including Bob Dylan, Bruce Springsteen, Neil Finn and Noel Gallagher. Some of which can be heard in his own original material.

Dave Winson takes the stage at Zander’s on Wednesday March 18th @ 7:30pm.

Check out Dave’s youtube for preview of a couple cover tunes.
